I got sick and tired of scrolling the net looking for a 1G hardwire write up.......because there are none. :thumbdown 2G hardwires litter the net, while everything 1G related is a 2-3 page long write up about how to plug in the optional turbo timer harness. If it was'snt for my harness dilema, I would'nt be here. Bottom line, I ordered the Blitz FATT with a GReddy harness, things arent working out with the harness, so Im opting to hardwire it instead.

What I would like is people who have done this hardwire on a 1G platform to post up and give proper wiring steps (i.e. connect wire color X on TT harness to wire color Z on ignition harness). If you have a link that I could not find regarding this, please post up. I would like to post the info in the tech article section so other people in the future who opt to hardwire a TT in their 1G can refer to it. I will meantion your name in the tech article if you can help shed light on this.

If someone can shed light on the difference between 1G and 2G wiring, that will help alot as well.

I guess I can explain the problem with the harness. I've called around and everyone has said I need a 6 pin (3 top, 3 bottom) for a 1G DSM which that is what harness was sent to me. Well, not the case with mine. I have an 8 pin (4 top, 4 bottom). Does anyone know the wiring for that harness? I would hate to just have to dig in and tap each one to find the write ones.

Man, I swear after this is done and over with , the first thing Im doing is a write up on how to hardwire a 1G DSM. This is rediculous. :thumbdown
