I'm gonna have to slightly disagree with you there. If you shift right at 6k you're gonna drop below the meat of the powerband in most gears. Go a little past, maybe even 6500/6600. You don't have to bounce the limiter to get the best run but you don't want to shift too quickly. In my experience the bearings aren't the weak link, it's the valvetrain and the rings (if the HG doesn't go before the rest of it allI wouldn't go past 6000rpms. thats where your powers at anyways
) Of all the 420A's that I've destroyed I have yet to spin a bearing.Now if you're referring to street driving, then why the hell are you bouncing off the rev limiter regularly? That's just stupid
