I'm pretty sure this will work, but it is kind of a monstrosity. It was super cheap, and I hope to through it out when I figure out something better.

Now I see why nobody wants to recirculare a bov!

Why not just use flexible radiator hose? You won't have to worry about melting it, and it won't have a problem with leaking. I don't really trust the vacuum hose as its real thin. It could tear and you'll have to do it all over again.

I normally use junkyard radiator hoses. If you can make it with home depot stuff, you can make it with that. No chance of melting or breaking, and mine has held 25psi on intake leak tests (even though it never sees any pressure. Past 25 my PVC boost leak tester pops out of the silicone coupler.

Really apriciate the info, especialy the melting point of pvc. Im definatly gona be going with something else.

That clear reinforced tubing someone was speaking of is vinyl, and melts pretty easy ( I put a heat gun to it trying to bend it without kinking and started smoking)

Its an old pic, Its a metal pipe in the middle then then clamps holding it down. Doesn't look 100% clean but gets the job done and sounds great :thumb:

Thats a pretty cool idea.
Nice work! :thumb:

Crappy i know, but it should work. Had to turn the bov that way because it was pretty much hitting the intake when facing down.

just looked at my first post and realized I originally was going to get the clear tube and ended up with a black braided one b/c it looked more stock :ohdamn: anyway, it's still a braided tube and you could use a clear one all the same. pic will be up tomorrow.

Match up some radiator hose at the parts store. It's cheap, it doesn't draw your attention, and it'll hold the heat. None of those braided water hoses or vacum cleaner hoses or PVC hoses are reliable on a hot summer day, and none of us want to see you on fire on the side of the road. It would perpetuate DSM's bad reputation for reliability. IMO that reputation is un-deserved, and un-nessesary, so please folks, do it right, or pay someone like me to do it for you.

When I installed my ETS FMIC I used stainless drain tube from the plumbing section at the hardware store.

I ended up buying all kinds of different bends and straight pieces but I got it to work and it looks awesome. Ill post some pictures up here as soon as I can.

It ended up costing way more than I wanted to spend though. I think I want to say I spent like $50 on just the piping.

pretty sure this has just as high a melting point and it's made of thicker material. I'm actually more comfortable with the braded hose i posted:thumb: but to each his own
