sorry dont know where to post this. need some one local to help me out with rebuilding a engine for my 2g . the motor is a 1g 7bolt. i built the last motor with a buddy who thought he new his shit. but guess what broken rod through my block. need to rebuild a motor i have purchased and want it done right. please if u can help me out pm me. the build will be latter this month. want some one wiser than me that has done a build and had little problems.dont want to blow this motor up. the engine was out of a 93 tsi with 120,000 miles.n eed this engine to hold up to the abuse of a 20g. am getting new pistons and rings bearings and water pump and oil pump and bsek.

Well I can't help you with the engine rebuild but I can help you the next time your trying to post in the correct forum. Since Waukegan is about a 5 minute drive from a Great Lake (Lake Michigan) you'd probably post a thread like this here... Great Lakes Region DSM - DSM Forums
