Any way to test the a/c condenser?

The front end of my "new to me" 98 gst was pushed under a truck. He replaced the radiator, but left the a/c condenser alone.
Living in SW Florida, I must have the a/c working.
All the freon is out of the car, btw.
Here are some pics: The damage does not go through to the other side.

Is it still useable? Is there anyway to test it, without reinstalling and filling the lines with freon and see if it leaks?

Compress it with air. That will show if it leaks.
From your pictures mine was worse than that
and it never leaked.Just make sure you replace
the o rings on every connection you take off.
They are like 5 bucks at the auto parts store.
You get a big box of them.

+1 on the air pressure check, maybe try to charge it with air pressure & hold the charged unit under water & look for bubbles. Also when you get the system charged with R134a, put an ultra-violet dye in with the charge, this will help you find other leaks in the system if there are any . . . :talon:
