I am in the process of installing a fmic with short route piping and won't be able to use my dejon 1g/2gmaf 1gr intake pipe and was wondering if i could just use a 2g intake pipe considering i have room for the filter in the old uicp location. They're about 1/3 the price on ebay as a new dejon 1gs pipe. From the pictures it looks like the only differnce is the 2g intake puts the filter closer to the fender than the 1gs does.

Anyone using the 2g intake on a 1g without problems? I'd assume i'd also need to get a 2g oval filter as well right?

I used to have a 2g intake pipe on my 1g with the stock 1g MAS and stock intercooler. fitted good but ghetto way.

not sure if that helps tho.

Not the filter but the MAS itseft if your still using the stock 1g MAS.
