Hey guys, so is there any point in me hooking up the purple knock wire?
Does it even read accurate knock? I heard somewhere that it doesn't...

From my understanding and searching the safc can not read knock in dsm's. It might give you some sort of reading but its not the same knock reading that the ecu interprets from the knock sensor. The only way to read knock accurately is with a datalogger because it will tell you exactly what the ecu is detecting as knock.
