Any idea what this is?

OK, I found this on ebay and was wondering if anyone may be able to help identify this turbo:

I emailed him and he said that the markings have been polished off of it, but said that it had big wheels in it. He said its a T3, but it looks more like a T28 to me. The guy is like 20 minutes from where I work, so I may go take a look at it tomorrow. Can anyone give some things to look for to help identify it? Some help would be greatly appreciated.

looks like it might be an IHI killer 16g? maybe t28.. thought t3 housing had a rectangular shaped exhaust inlet on the turbo

I believe it does, but if you look it has an adapter flange on it to fit a dsm.

He also says that it has a 2 1/2" inlet on the compressor.
