Any Feedback on ECU+

Anyone have any experance with this? If so any feedback would be nice .... I want dsmlink but its just a little out of my price range.... Would this be good enough? Or would you save the extra buck to do dsmlink

Everyone using ECU+ will say don't spend the money on DSMLink. And, The DSMLink guys will spout out all the extra features of the DSMLink platform...

Ask yourself, "do I want to fool my ecu or do I want to make it smarter?"

I'll bet an ECU+ guy chimes in real soon now...

Well what are the extra features you get , Im only planning to do 350whp-400whp depending when i run out of money. Also it seems you get a better tune with the ECU+ you get 250rpm intervals instead of 500. I dont know THAT much about tunning , this is why i am asking

With any tune, you want a smooth curve. DSMLink extrapolates the curve in between the 500 rpm tuning points you modify and smoothes the curve automatically. 16 tuning points w/ fuel; 16 tuning points w/ timing. Any more and my head would have popped and bloodied up my interior !

I say go DSMLink all the way. It is the NLTS, antilag, nitrous/water/alky control, incredible logger, ability to raise the revlimit, and full control of all the sensors and solenoids to have them act the way you want that sold me. I can tell my ecu that the coolant temp is 200 degrees even if i'm not running a thermostat at all (running about 140*). Less chance for detonation. This alone let me add 2 psi of boost (about 20 more horsepower).

Guys have made 400whp with an SAFC.

Well i would like the data logger as well , thats why i wont just buy safc .... SAFC+datalogger would be just under the price of dsmlink/ecu+ So id rather do the whole thing. Understand , ill never use the nitrus , water/alky , Or raise the rev limted so all i would really be gaining is antilag... But i see your point dsmlink is much more popular and talked about then ecu+.... Well anyone else have there 2 cents?

Go DSMLink. Logging and tuning abilities are awesome, the interface is very user friendly, and the tech support is absolutely incredible. You can also use the nitrous control to do such things as work a shift light. You will also have the stutterbox feature, and the ability to log additional sensors such as MAP, WBO2, fuel pressure, oil pressure, etc.

Thanks for the imput , ecu+ does not have stutterbox , as well as removing the speed limiter in a 2g right? Plus prob. Buncha other stufff.... Guess ill just have to keep my eye out for dsmlink =(
