So far Kris and I have done so far...
Great stuff if you select an appropriate nozzle+tank size. Make sure you get one with a progressive controller though. You always have the option for re-tuning on our Cali piss pump-91Any you guys familar with methanol injection? I will be picking up a buddies car soonthat I help build and it's on 94octane right now, obviously it's gotta come down to 91. Evo 16g, 660s, 190wally, and is on a afc2. What do you guys think?

For what it is worth, I have tuned a Snow Performance stage 1 kit using an AFC. I know many individuals and cars rocking 600+ who tune stage 2 kits with piggyback controllers. You just have to do it rightI talked to Sam up at RRE and he said it didn't matter about the progressive nozzel if I switch to link, but don't think I can afford link just yet. Not to sure if it's worth getting meth while still with an AFC, I'm looking at devilsown kits, stage 2 has the progressive nozzel, not sure wich rout I will go. I'll also have some wheels I'll be getting rid of if anyone is interested.

I don't know much about running meth inject other than what I've heard from Sam while I've BS'd with him about it before I decided to switch to E85. With dsmlink you can run two maps, a 91oct map and a meth map. This gives you a fail safe if something happens while your going balls to the wall WOT and your water line flies off. With dsmlink if that happened your ECU would switch back to the 91oct map and your motor would stay in your car, with an SAFC if this happened nothing good would come out of it. Anyone on here go to MOD '08 remember a black 3000gt on the RRE dyno? His meth line came off at full boost and there was no fail safe...I talked to Sam up at RRE and he said it didn't matter about the progressive nozzel if I switch to link, but don't think I can afford link just yet. whoops.

PS: The reason I suggest "progressive" is for low-boost/throttle, but I suppose that you can always set your injection threshold higher.

I entered the dyno competition and the fail safe on my boost controller failed, boost spiked, the meth line popped off and on 91 octane I lost a couple pistons.
.I bet he sets up a fail safe map this time incase a meth line happens to blow off again.I am friends with the owner of that red '99 VR-4. At that time, his car made 472AWHP @4200 RPM.
Anyway, his car is being fully built at FSR Motorsports with an AEM EMS over his previous ARC-2 setup. IIRC, he is still running twin DR800 turbos.

I'm almost glad my car ate its wiring harness because I had this penciled in on my calendar, I was going to go but my car was down. He's lucky I wasn't there or his ass would be in jail, I wouldn't have just been ducking behind a car when he pulled out a gun I would have been halfway dialing "911". I always wondered about that guy, I saw him walking around with his possey of nuthuggers in the pits and he never introduced himself... Not very good business sense and after that dyno day I can't imagine him keep his shop open for much longer, unless his Evo nuthuggers keep his head above water.^Yeahhh that one spread rather quickly ever since then. I cannot say that I am surprised though... lots of pride and "d*ck swinging" went on man. There are lots of other threads surrounding it too.

And if you get link Corey or I can tune it for you. way easier than driving to LA. for a price of course
