I believe they are orange and brown on the afc harness but thats just from memory havent actually messed with an afc in a while. but the airflow wires will be the only two wires that are hooked into a two wires of the same color meaning orange to green and brown to green. because the airflow wire is cut and both ends used for the afc to intercept the airflow signal for its correction

Kris was on the right path. According to vfaq, it is the orange [input] and pink [output] wires that must be connected. At the ECU itself, this would be the green wire w/ blue stripe.

You will need to find the orange and pink wires disconect them from the green/blue wire then connect the green/ blue wire back to itself

I was in tech around 615. It was ridiculous... two inspectors and four lines!

Anyway, my trip to state threw me off for the night. My best was a trap of 83 w/ 2.0 60'

A few noteworthy cars that I beat were: Mazdaspeed3, G35 [x2], Neon SRT4, and Mustang GT convertible.

Thanks for the optimism There were TONS of RX-8's oddly but nothing worth mentioning. I discovered that one of the trailered 1G DSM's is from Ball Mitsubishi.

no he lives in murrieta but it is ALL of lincoln military housing not just where I live. we will have to do it friday night so we have time to work out the bugs.

Hey fellas, hope everyone is doin well. I had a question, not sure if someone asked this awhile back but could someone tell me what the symptoms are of crankwalk? I have a 99 gst. Everything Ive read says that a loud clicking sound when pushing in the clutch. Thats not happening to me but what did happen that got me wondering about this was when i was in 4th gear at about 4000 RPMs and it shook a bit. I let go of the gas and it stopped. First time I ever felt that. I do have a boost leak but i dont think that was associated with that, however my fuel does cut out around those RPMs.

I thought it might be pre-crankwalk but I just wanted to check with your guys before I jump to conclusions. How does someone proactively fix crankwalk before it happens?

To prevent it there is no way. But by changing the main bearings when the end play gets out of tolerance will help. What you are experiencing is not crankwalk

Ok cool, thanks for the reply. Any idea what the little shake could be? With cars I know it can be any number of things.
