Oooh you will enjoy Japan. I was there from '93-'00 and had an amazing time growing up alongside their culture. BTW, there was a sponsored meet tonight at IKEABorn n raised in Daygo. Looks like my time has come to an end, or atleast a really long time out. Just found out my wife will be stationed in japan. We leave beginning of june. Major bummer, I was starting to enjoy the dsm comunnity here. Any meets coming up? I'm trying to soak it all up before I'm airborn.
; I decided not to go since I had a long day.Corey - You can definitely tune for more TIMA like you said. The oxygenated fuel really unlocks power assuming you have enough fuel to support it. I street-tuned for min 20* and max 32* starting at ~13.0:1 peak boost and coming down to ~12.0:1 throughout the pull w/ zero detonation. On my pump tune, I had min 18* and max 29* w/ less boost prior to meth. Obviously, engine load/IDC's will affect the ECU's desire to advance. It is a "fun game" discovering the right balance/trade-off between boost and timing

to take it in but your deployed and the dealership is the only place you can trust to do a good BLT on your car.

Alex's GSX would actually have to start running for it to become driveable and total it.
And thats why I love her. haha. But, I do agree that most mechanics are sneaky, and will probably try to tell her a load of crap. I'll take the advice and print out an explanation of the problem, for her to take with her to the stealership. Another problem she came across is the alternator bolt is ceased, and the belt had jumper, so now she cant drive the car until she breaks that bolt loose. Im gonna see if one of my buddies can go to the house and do it for her, because the Eclipse is blocking where I need to my LS1 when it gets to my house next week. It's just a big mess that I could straighten out in a day if I were home. I hate feeling helpless.
just kidding.
