All 1G cars produced before the second week of June '91 have a 3 bolt rear end. This almost covers All DSM's manufactured in '90-'91 but I'm sure a few '91's got lucky. That being said, all 1992-1994 DSM's got the 4-bolt rear end.

So Andrew, don't even bother crawling under there and checking because you can be certain its a 4-bolt. Just look in the driverside door jam and find MDH written on the sticker there, MDH stands for Month/Day/Hour that the car rolled off the assembly line.

Yep. Good thing I pulled 2, yes two, 4-bolt w/lsd rears a few weeks back and finally had time this past weekend to swap one in

Oh Corey, so im hearing a clanking sound from my Drivers Front suspension... ive pulled the tire off and checked any loose bolts, and theres none, but every time i hit a tiny hole or those lane divider bumps on the freeway or road, i hear this clanking sound. Sounds like something wants to fall off, cant see anything that would cause it though

Heres how to find out whats trying to free itself from your DSM.

1. Go to the Walmart parking lot near Fry's.
2. Get about 300 ft away from a speed bump near the front of the store.
3. Go WOT into the speed bump.
4. After you've landed come to a complete stop and see what fell off.
5. Pick up the part(s) and put it/them in the backseat, if the car still drives just fine you didn't need that part anyway.

Advice isn't free either, I expect $50 in my Paypal account now. It was a pleasure doing business.

it was my pleasure i actually planed it so it was my exercise , as i did the math for every 4-5 boxes i moved the other guys moved one.. i'm sure the girls were beating them on the box count too.. it wasn't no big deal i enjoy helping friends.

Hey guys, I have a request!!! By any chance can someone help me repair my car? My water pump just busted on my way home from work. Fortunately I had just parked my car at home when I noticed my temp rising. I popped open the hood and noticed what appeared to be antifreeze dripping out of the water pump area. I felt it and smelled it and it smelled like water/antifreeze. I'm about to buy a water pump right now but I was wondering if someone could install it for me. Of course I'd $$. If not its cool, jus wondering.
