hey guys. I will be visiting the state referee soon and need to borrow or buy a factory 97 turbo awd catalytic converter for an eagle talon. Preferably downpipe and cat. It needs to be in good working condition for it to pass visual and sniffer test. Or if someone can point me towards a new cat that is OBDII compliant and California legal cat that is for the 97 eagle talon tsi awd let me know. I know there are cats out there but they aren't fit enough for the state ref. so if you have one laying around i can borrow it would be greatly appreciated.

just roll with the top down when you come out with the heater on full blast... can't believe someone would do that sh!t. i wouldn't rush putting on those springs btw, your going to need a camber kit for the rear or its going to look like yours cars squatting.

Just lowering it 1.5 inches should not need a camber kit does it? Yeah about my top that blows but whatever, it's probably the size of a dime, but still. Might claim it on insurance but we'll see.

I had to watch the baby that night. wanted to test out the new clutch and fixed boost leaks. Finally got it to hit full boost before 4 grand. Got it to boost at 3700 but I can still hear it hissing while driving. Damn boost leaks!

hey man... your car might not be leaking boost at all! whats the hissing/boost leak your hearing cause if its a whistling noise check your boost gauge and see if your at vacuum or boost when it makes that sound. if your at vacuum its your 1g bov making that noise, its just recirculating and it makes that funny ass whistle. if you get good enough at it instead of going full boost and blowing off way loud at hot chicks just touch the gas a bit and let off and you can whistle at them instead. haha. if you can hear your car leaking BOOST then your exhaust isn't loud enough... you don't have boost leaks, just excuses not to come out to qualcomm and race us.
