Any advice on how to mount my trasmission?

I got the two top bolts started, pins on both sides of the tranny are no where near. I have about a 1" gap at the top, and 1.5" at the bottom if not more. I dont see it hanging up on anything, or hear metal clinking together, though I could just be missing something. What am I doing wrong, or what can I do to help this along. I am renting my transmission jack by the day, and this is taking forever!

YOu might have to been kinda mean to it.. I shake the engine around to get it to line up better. It sounds like you have some bad angles going on. Try changing the angles of the engine and tranny to get them to line up better.

Watch the diff. area too, it likes to hit the firewall
