There are coolant lines that run through your throttle body. If its coming from the metal line on the throttle body then chances are the throttle body is leaking. It could just be one of the rubber lines that run to it are split or leaking or not tight enough. I would pull what ever line is leaking off an inspect it. You can either replace the line if its bad or if the throttle body is leaking i would just block off the lines. I dont have mine hooked up an it runs fine.

its a metal line ... its a pipe right under the throttle body.... i dont kno what its called.. but its gushing out from there.. and also sometimes from my radiator cap.. it overflows and it leaks. i bought 2 caps already and it still keeps leaking from there also. i bought a regular stock cap as u see there... then i bought a high pressure one.. and it still leaks...

That's a lot of pressure to build up, you'll have to just replace the water pipe, find one in a junk yard or buy one from a partout. You should also recirculate your bov. Is your car overheating at all? Is your thermostat functioning properly?

what do u mean recirculate my bov? point it the other way? i think im gonna shoot my mechanic that did the job when replacing the head. because after it got out of the shop my power steering hose cracked... and i just replaced it and reinstalled a brand new one.. stinkin dirty money wanting mechanics... cant trust anyone... and i noticed why i was gushing out antifreeze... it was because my mechanic left the clamp unclamped ... the rubber line hose was lose that was connecting to the metal pipe..

Hehehe...sorry. That made me giggle a little. :D Recirculate means that the air that blows out of the BOV will go back into the air intake. There's a spot where you can hook it back up on your intake. Venting your BOV like that without a GM Mass Airflow Translator and MAF causes you to run rich.

ohhhhhhh is that the reason why my gas eats up ALOT!??? LOL and my engine idle is like 2000 rpms!!! wtf is that??
which way ... i really dont get it.. can u like take that pic i have up there and doodle all over it.. so i can know LOL

No, there is probably something else going on there. The bov not being recirculated will cause your car to run rich between shifts (not very noticeable and doesn't adversely affect driveability) and also cause your car to stumble at idle when you pull up to a stop sign or light. Performance will be hurt by an unrecirculated bov but most drivers wont notice much more than the stumbling and crappy idle. The easy way to recirculate the bov is to turn it around then use some radiator hose to make a connection between the bov and your intake tube. You might need a new intake tube since you are a n/t conversion but just get one from any 1g turbo and the way to do it should be pretty clear. Even if you don't get it recirculated right away you MUST get a filter on the bov since it likely sucks in some amount of unfiltered air during idle/off boost driving.

High idle could be caused by an improperly adjusted BISS and your gas mileage could be any number of problems including boost leaks.

Did the doodling for ya. But the recirculated BOV isn't going to fix everything you mentioned. I would start with the boost leak test and see where you stand after that with the idle.

:thumb: Nice drawing!

Once you get that done you can either reset your ecu or just drive the car for a while. If you don't reset your ecu it will take a little bit for your car to see all the benefits of a recirculated bov since your ecu has been adjusting for the lost metered air and will need to re-learn your cars airflow characteristics.

another problem i have is that my power steering hose the metal part by the front part keeps cracking and i keep leaking power steering fluid... this would be my 2nd time having to replace it... any suggestions on how to fix the problem permanently? or how to prevent it from keep happening..

Are you reffering to the Power steering cooler? It is just a steel line that wraps in front of the radiator.

You can bend your own out of some tubing and route it back up to the reservoir. Or you can eliminate it alltogether and reroute the lines at the reservoir, to flow like stock, but without the cooler line. You can actually use the existing rubber lines to do this.

These threads will show you all the cooler options.
