2G Anti lock brakes on 2gen Eclipse

did 2nd gen eclipses come with anti lock brakes??, if so does anyone know what vin to look for to see if a car has it??, tks

Yes they did have the option, no idea on a VIN pattern to look at. There were two pump/ecu combos, one from early year 2gs and one from later (not sure the cutoff for this, might just be 99, or perhaps 98 and 99?) and the wiring was likely different for each, so keep that in mind. Someone was selling an abs pump on here recently, but you'd still need the wiring harness to go with and the plug and pins are appearing impossible to find (OHM Racing is actually looking into this right now thought not with great luck so far). You'd need the pump, g-meter (sensor that sits behind the radio location), four wheel speed sensors... I think that's it. I figured out the pinouts for the later year ecu setup (this has the abs ecu and pump as one in the front driver corner) I think from when I shredded harness harness and had to figure out the wiring if you do end up needing to splice things.
