antenna replacement

anyone know how to replace the antenna i was taking my radio out and the part that goes into the back of the radio broke off so i need to buy a new one. where can i get the part

If you're talking about the power antenna wire (looks like an RCA wire) There's one on eBay right now used for $20

If you contact miller import parts directly he will give you a good deal. I buy from him all the time.

is it hard to replace and is it a universal plug or does it have to be from a eclipse/talon

its a bit time consuming, but not difficult to replace the wire. Just follow the wire and move or take off any panels that get on the way.

Take your old one to raido shack. They have the plugs for the antenna wire. If that is what your talking about.

yea the plug that goes into the back of the radio ripped off

The plug is universal, But the length of the wire is different.

so i can go to a junk yard and get the wire from any car just gotta make sure its the same length or longer
