Alright, I know this has been asked before, and will be asked again, I am looking at doing a turbo upgrade, yes I know I still need supporting fuel mods, but I am trying to set up a plan of attack. So right now I am doing my homework on all the types of turbo's to decide what would be the best to run. At first I had planned on going with a big T28, but after reading some threds, i see a lot of people seem un-happy. As far as prices go, I can get a T28, T3/T4, or a Evo III 16g all for about the same price. Overall I am looking for the low to mid 300whp range on the car... I now with the 16g I need the install kit, I am not totaly sure on the understanding of the kit though, does this require me to re-tap feed lines from the block and such? or am I just re-routing the lines? Since my car is a daily driver I need a turbo setup that can be...well setup within a day or two. Thats why I am leaning towrds a T28...to my understanding this is a strait bolt-on(as in stock mani, stock o2, and not touching any oil/water lines)just bolt it up and go(is that correct) The T3/T4 seems to be the same, but will require a new mani.

I guess basicaly what I am asking, what is the true install dificulty if each turbo setup, and what would fit best for my application?

Mods now are -

Injen Intake
3' cat back
IC pipes
Greddy type S
MBC
Guages

Coming soon-

3' downpipe
test pipe

On a 2G, installing a BT-28 or EVO III 16g turbo does not require any tapping of feed lines, just a new line from the oil filter/stock location;

As far as ease of installation/bolt on, they are the same, stock manifold/O2 housing, just and additional hour or two for a 16g to do to water lines and oil return line;

IMO, I'd stay away from the T3/T4 because of the manifold and spend the money on something else.

Oh yea, if your application is a true daiily driver, like mine... BT-28.

Can you link me to a guide or walkthrough on the install of those oil and feed lines? I am still wondering what all goes into doing that. as in, what exactly must you do to do the water and oil lines?
