Another Engine noise.

Hey friends, Ive been trying to diagnose a knocking in my engine and ive researched and searched for that matter and none of the other noise topics have matched my issues so far. So the knocking starts at about 2k RPMs and becomes silent at higher RPMs and under boost but after boost ro high rev, the RPMs drop and the engine tends to die or barely save itself before dieng unless i give it a little gas. Ill try to get a nice HQ Video of the noise later so with that description any insights or ideas will be helpful and thanks before hand for any help or suggestions.

its hard to tell without hearing it. it could be a rod knocking or valves. either way get the vid up and be alot easier to tell.

this sounds like what my old laser did, and it eventually got louder. It was Rod Knock, and i think it eventually spun a bearing. Be careful. but yes a video would be a lot more helpful with this.

Well ill get that vid up then probably go strait to dropping the oil pan too.
