Another coolant tank (not an energy drink can)...

After quite some time I finally got around to finishing this little side project. A lot better than the bootleg tank I had sitting in there (CXracing box, didn't really fit anywhere, and looked ugly and out of place).

Still need a few more fittings to finish it off. Holds a little over 2 quarts of water.

Anyone see a problem with mounting this directly on top if the trans? Should I mount it loose and let it sit on rubber or something?

Very nice , I don't think mounting it on the trans would be any major concern though rubber mounts wouldn't hurt . Where did you get the cap and weld on bung?

Summit racing IIRC for the cap. All bungs from Performancedynamics.com They have great prices on all AN stuffs. (getfast1 on ebay). I use their Teflon lines and fittings for everything. Meth, Gas, Coolant. Pretty soon for air (BOV/EWG).

Well, sticking Vinyl hose in the an fittings (for sight tube) didn't work as well as I intended. I will have to come up with another solution. Probably involving silicone or something. Really don't wanna use barb fittings on this thing.

GSLENK You could try and use acrylic tubes for a sight glass

I got mine from eBay. I haven't tried it yet. but I don't see why it wouldn't work but I am going to use push lock fittings for my tube I guess maybe that would not work for an fittings.
