Went to autozone to see if they had a simple fix because my next day off isnt until Monday. What do you guys think will work without pulling the radiator off? I check for the black things sticking out on the other fan, but they dont have anything like them.

I have a SPAL fan mounting kit and they have worked perfectly for me. I'm not sure if they would work with any other brands but it does appear that your fans are compatible.

Until recently my only fan was held on with zip ties. Upgraded it to dual 12" slim fans. But I allways keep zipties and duct tape in case of emergencies.

Go to Oreilly's Auto and ask for a Universal Cooling Fan Mounting Kit...they're cheap and they're a permanent fix versus Zip Ties. GL.

I used bicycle spokes. Cut them to length, heated end without threads & smashed it flat (so it can hold a washer & not pull through), and threaded the end caps on. I always have zipties in the car (with my tools) cause it seems like there's always something.

Isn't a dsm unless there's a ton of zip ties on the car to hold things.... Do it once do it right, get the kit.

Very nice i have about a 1000 of them and think ill give that a try. Thanks for the great idea
