So im thinking I will be needing a new alternator. I will be running a memphis belle amp (120A worth of fuses), dual walbro 255s, a SPAL fan, and HIDs(I know they use less power than halogens). With the battery relocated to the trunk

What kind of amperage rating should I be going for, and where is a good place to start my search for a good RELIABLE alternator?

Thanks! :D

hey Lucas, It's Shane, AKA Brunoboy on vr4.org, I see a lot of people using Saturn Alternators. Do a search here and you should find it.

Awesome, I saw a few posts in the past about them, but it seemed like usually it was people having issues with them. Im gonna do some research on this swap (shouldda searched before posting haha) and see where it leads me. Ive also been playing with the idea of taking one of the multiple spare alternators I have here and seeing what a local rebuild shop can do for me. In the end, I just want something that will be reliable for me, because swapping them all the time is a royal pain!

Thanks bro!
