Alternator Pully Removal

Ok, so I purchased an alternator, it gets here and I notice....no pulley. So I remove my alternator, but I can't figure out how to get the damn pulley off. Not matter what I do, I can't get it to not spin. If the pulley doesn't spin, then the entire alternator is spinning.

I use a impact gun to get them off.

I don't have one. Is there somewhere I can go that they will quickly remove it for me?

Take it to any garage that has an impact gun, Im sure they will blast it off with the impact gun real quick. It will take less than a minute.

With this other alternator out, and no pulley on it, should it still spin freely? I've noticed that when turning the nut on it by hand, it will turn, but it won't spin. I even have to apply a good amount of force at times to make it turn some.
