ok, so i sawpped a 95 block in to my 96 spyder a while ago and the 12mm bolt for the back side of the alt tensioner was broke off. So after some modification we made the tensioner attach to one of the 10mm bolts on the timming cover....Bad idea, worked for quite along time untill we were on a long road trip and had no battery power on the highway in the middle of the night. we inded up buying a small rachet strap and threw it around the alt and radiator support tightened it down and we were off. I was wondering if any one else had any ideas on how to make a new place to mount my tensioner arm. The belt slipped alot on the way and i assume that was causing my slightly overheating temperature issues. And iv now got oil in the antifreeze but not vise versa mabe cracked water way in the head? WTF

Why not just remove the broken alt. tentioner bolt?

You have oil in the cooling system, but not water in the oil?

That means you have high pressure oil pushing into low pressure coolant.

Oil pressure is 30 psi + and coolant is 13 psi max.

You can be getting oil in your coolant from over tightening your oil filter and crushing the internals on your oil cooler where the filter screws on. That would be my first guess to be honest. It might have been happening before the alternator issue happened and you just didn't notice.

Ok so where would high pressure oil be pushing through into low pressure anti freeze? I just did a head gasket and the oil in the anti freeze has been happening for a while it's just been getting worse. As far as the alt tensioner bolt goes it's broke off way far behind the water pump it will not be easy at all to get out of the block. I was thinking of just doing a relocation to the back of the motor? What's a kit like that cost?

i fixed my alt issue for thoes of you who are wondering. personally i like it when people post their solutions. basically i took the arm from my alt tensioner i cut it it two and used the end that is slotted. I drilled a hole big enough for a 12mm and bolted that to the powerstearing pump directly above. the other end is slotted and lines up perfect with the alt alowing it to be adjustable :D
