So I ran my logger on the car today, and these are the codes coming up:
11, 12, 13, 14, 21, 22, 24, 25, 31, 41, 42, 44.
Thats literally all the codes!

I just finished doing my full build. The car starts but won't rev past 4.

The other day though, some weird stuff was going on. I would turn the key on to ACC and the engine would bump over by itself then you could hear the ECU and injectors clicking like crazy.

All this is kinda hurting my brain and hopefully we can come up with a solution.

Any ideas?

Lost sensor ground in the ECU. I searched but couldn't find the post. Apparently putting the chip in backwards will fry the ECU.

Sounds like either the sensor ground as mentioned or loose connections from the wiring harness to the ECU. I would pull each wire out of the connector and adjust the tension by pressing down on the adjustment hole with a needle. The process is outlined in the FSM if you have one, otherwise let me know and I'll post a diagram.

You can pull the cover on your ECU and see if you see or smell any burns: http://www.ecmtuning.com/wiki/blownsensorground?s=sensors%20ground. Also start checking your harness with a multimeter. The sensor grounds are pins #24 and #17 (on a 1g, not sure if VR-4's are different). Here is the pinout for the 1g ECU: http://www.dsmtalk.com/gallery/data/500/Drawing2_Model_1_.jpg I found this, it's the GVR4 pinout: http://img.galantvr4.org/82000/82423-0-0-0.jpg (it's almost identical)

What are your sensors logging? For instance is your coolant temp off the wall, like negative?

Yeah, if you could post a diagram, that would be awesome. Ill run the logger here in a bit. I was just trippin out cause of all the CEL's.

Could it be a possibilty that I just need to reset the codes and see what happens? Maybe by me putting the chip in backwards, it freaked it out. I mean the car still starts, it just really doesnt want to rev past 3800rpm's.

What chip did you put in and did you actually put it in backwards?

You can reset the codes but chances are they will just pop back up. I would verify that the sensors ground looks intact and you are getting a good connection from the harness to the ECU before you try driving it anymore.

Here is the image from the FSM. Just pull each pin out of the ECU connector and push a needle through the little hole so it tightens up the contact point.

I had a similar problem when I first switched to v3, crazy sensor readings and about 4 DTC's (so not as bad as yours but similar). My problem was fixed 100% just by tightening the contact points on the wire ends.

Hope this helps!

Figures the problem out!!! I just reset the codes and there ya go!!!

I guess me putting the chip in backwards whacked the computer out.

Thanks for all your guys help!
