alarm system theft light help

I am wanting to install a flashing LED on the Dash to let people know that there IS an alarm system in it. Except I have 15 LED lights all the way across the dash . But anyways, I am looking for the Alarm system, and am needing the +12V Constant to the Alarm when only when it is engaged.
But I am having a problem finding anything on my car, and I haven't found anything yet on here via "Search".

Could anyone help me?

EDIT: Or help me with any other +12V constant while the car is OFF. I was thinking on hooking it up to the ignition, but there are no wires connected to the ignition that makes a circuit while OFF.

and also was going to try to hook it to the Door open/close switches, but when the door is closed it disengages the circuit, so that wouldn't work either

What kind of alarm do you have. It should have an output just for that on the module itself.

Or at worst case, you could get a naturally closed relay and have it energize with ignition on. Then its just a matter of running a fused line of a constant 12v source to your'e little light show. Haha
