Airbag and Seatbelts

Hi there, im just wondering how to take out the passenger airbag and driverside seatbelt on a 96 eclipse and what tools will i need?

The seatbelts are easy. You just need a ratchet and the correct socket size. They are just held in by some massive bolts under the plastic panels. I havent done the airbag yet though so I'm not sure on that one.

Hopefully you are installing a 5 point harness haha.

thank you! hmm just a normal seatbelt to replace my old broken one

I would actually disconnect the battery an hr before you are going to work on it to be safe, because it might go off if you don't...... and that would be a bad situation. You'll also need to remove either the center console or the passenger center panel to access the clip for the airbag. It's a yellow wire loom with a red connector.
