alright, when I bought the car, the intake was already in it. And it looks like a 3inch. since my car is NT doesnt it need 2.5? I read in this forum somewhere that if you put in a 3in, the car does not get so much power in accleration. Since im thinking about getting my tranny fixed, before i go ahead with that, i want to try the intake and change it. Yall think it will help? I can feel the power of the motor but there is just no accleration.
Thanks in advance!

If I should get an intake, what should i get? i want to spend about 50bucks or so.

the intake sizes usually range from 2.5 to 3 depending on manufacture. 3 will not hurt it for air intake since it just increases air flow into the throttle body. You do not want 3" exhaust pipe, that should be 2.5
