quick noob question:

If you have a pocket logger, do you still need a a/f ratio gauge, or S-AFC? or is that on the logger?

An AFC changes the "tune" of your car by manipulating the signal from the MAF to the computer, basically you can add or subtract the amount of fuel that goes in the motor. A logger will let you know what effect this has on the car. If you take to much fuel out then the car will run lean and die. A logger will let you see this before you cash out your motor. The A/F gauges arent that useful unless they are hooked up to a wideband O2 sensor. I like mine because it keeps me awake on long trips ;)

LOL
Mine keeps me occupied when I'm bored also. Oddly....
But like they said, an SAFC tunes, a logger logs. You need both or either a standalone/dsmlink.

You only need an A/F gauge to fill the other hole in the pod. And you can tell passengers it's everything from a testosterone meter to a crankwalk monitor.

LOL i can see it now...when it is in the middle its good, green meens its going to shut off, and red meens its going to blow:laugh:
