I now have a really annoying problem on my hands. Ever since I hooked up my egt gauge and oil psi gauge in the center vent, and wired them to the radio wires, my head unit now sometimes either doesn't come on at all or goes on and off intermittently. I already have the best ground I can find so I'm guessing the extra voltage needed to power the gauges is starving my head unit of voltage. This was the easiest and closet area to hook up my gauges so I did it this way. Any advice as to how I can get my radio to stay on now would be great. :thumb:

Also, ever since I installed my Greddy turbo timer, it shuts off and then immediatly turns back on every time I hit the turn signal. I guess this is another voltage issue? Any help with eiter of these problems will help me out alot. Man there's so many electrical issues with this car. LOL. Thanks in advance. :talon:

sounds like something's hitting a ground, or you just have crossed wires in general.

I'd go over all your wiring.

Should be fun :p

Yeah, what diab0lik said, check your wiring, and id re-wire the gauges to the fuse box, better that way. :dsm:

Thanks for the input guys, I did ground the radio to where the dash metal bolts to the body of the car so thats about the best ground I can get for that. I went over all the connections and taped up some unused wires and have had no luck yet. So I guess I'll rewire the gauges to the fuse box to free up some voltage to the radio. I hate electrical so I might just take it to a stereo shop and tell them to rewire and clean up the whole thing along with look at my turbo timer problem. :talon:
