I'm interested in the Clarion 2004 DXZ945MP head unit. It looks solid, and is found on ebay for like $310.

I have a few questions though, is there a better unit for the money?
What does it mean when the box claims DVD/TV on it?

Anyways, if anyone knows anything about this product (i really like it) please let me know!

p.s. my friend has won a couple audio competitions with this very deck! I'm just an audio n00b.

I'm a fan of Clarions stuff, its good quality stuff in my opinion. As for the DVD/TV option, this is right of the cardomain website for this deck "CeNET control for add-on CD changer, DVD changer, or Sirius satellite tuner."
Looks to me like you can easily add a changer, but its not clear if it has an S-video out for a DVD screen or not. I’d ask the seller about that.

Yeah, I pretty much only use Clarion myself. I have the VRX935VD which has the 7" in dash touch screen. Great product. And that DVD/TV thing is a capability. Like Dr3wStx said, you can get the CeNet add-ons of a DVD changer or a TV tuner along with a monitor or two of course. On mine I have the TV tuner and a CD changer hooked up to it but if you wanted, you can do all 3.
