Aftermarket fogs to factory switch

I'm a beginner when it comes to automotive wiring, but I figure how hard can it be to splice in a power and ground wire, right? Well here is my problem. I installed a set of aftermarket fogs on a 2G Talon that didn't come with fogs from the factory, or the harness provisions for it. So the lights are now installed and I asked my shop to wire in a oem fog light switch to make it a cleaner install. Now I have the problem where it looks like they wired the ground into the stock switch and left the power going into the aftermarket button. This combination doesn't seem to work for whatever reason.

The aftermarket switch is only a 3 wire setup (red, green, and yellow). I'm assuming red is power since that seems to be the norm, yellow seems to be accessories since it lights up the LED in the switch, and finally green being it's ground. My real question is which wires I should splice on the factory fog switch side of things. I tried looking for diagrams of what each wire does, so I can splice accordingly but any help would be appreciated.

The original switch is supposed to hook up to a relay that only allows the fog lights to work when the high beams are off, so there may be a few more wires involved than you expected.

Make sure you use a relay for the current, otherwise you'll burn up your switch. I can hook it up for you, but my shop is around 400 miles away.

HA, well thank you for the quick service at least. All I really want is the factory switch to turn on the fogs, no more. Since the car didn't come with the wiring harness necessary to run fogs, everything is spliced in on the pigtails to make the switch light up and stuff, but I figure thats all it does at the moment. But for the aftermarket switch, it was just those three wires; so it safe to assume that you would only need the power and ground wires connected to complete the circuit?
