1G Aftermarket 90-91 1Ga Pop-Up Headlights Any Good?

I see a few sites selling 1g pop up headlights with differing customizations to them such as LED's, projectors, halo's etc. Are they any good? They're around $40, so it's not like I'm losing a lot if they're junk, but I'd rather avoid them if people have had consistent negative experiences with them.

Those are basically the eBay ones. You can run them and be fine but it's about the same output as the stock ones. The good thing is they are no longer sealed beam

The lights on my 1g barely produce any decent light. Any replacement would work better than what I have haha. I've never seen that machv upgrade though. How do the universals hook up? Would I have to solder anything?
