After I did a oil change and nothing else was touched. Fill motor with 4 quarts of oil, idle the car for 5 minutes and these codes show up.(P0304- cylinder 4 misfire and P0325- Knock sensor bank 1 mulfunction)

My car drives fine, did a 2k-4k 3rd gear pull and logger shows a drop in timming when boost starts kicking in. Got like 3-4 counts of knock with loss in power during WOT, car will blow out black smoke when releasing the throttle.

Engine is still new with less than 10k and New turbo/sparkplugs/ISC have less than 3k miles.

Is it Knock sensor or the 02 sensor crapping out? car seems to reacts like when 02 went bad but this time its not throwing 02 code.

Thx

Try moving spark plug number 4 to hole number 3 and moving plug wire 4 to a different cylinder OTHER than 3 or 4. Idea being that you're trying to rule out plugs and wires as the source for a misfire. I doubt the oil change had anything to do with your problem unless you spilled oil all over the wires and they were shot anyways.

What is the history on the plugs and wires, what brands are they and what other sort of maintenance have you done on the car that might be related to driveability?
