After market timing belt, 4g63

As the title states, I'm wondering which aftermarket belt is the best. Such as just last the longest and is known to be the best quality. Thanks!

Well yes and no I mean if you live in the US by from a reputable place. Like extreme psi, jnztuning, etc.
BogusSVO gave you the best answer on timing belts already.

Should I buy the whole kit and replace everything or is that not really necessary?

Timing belt = Your flavor & budget

Water pump NEW GMP brand

OE idler and testioner pulleys

OE Auto testioner

Things to check

Cam seals, crank seal, oil pump gear seal = replace as needed.

Clean and inspect harmonic balancer, replace as needed ( OE strongly recommended)

In car BSE is an option at this point

Just wanted to add that no matter what belt you go with, they should always be replaced at the 60k mile service interval. A Gates Racing "Blue" belt will not last any longer than a standard Black Gates belt.

The belts stated above are all good quality aftermarket belts if you decide to go down that route. Otherwise, an oem belt will be just fine. I personally only run oem t blets.

I personally would stay away from ebay products when dealing with timing. I would spend the extra money to get oem everything for the piece of mind with the exception of a gates water pump.

No... that is china parts for the most part, the water pump, Cam and crank seals is all you would use.

The part # for the OEM Kevlar reinforced IX belt is actually 1145A038. The belt linked is just a standard oem timing belt that fits all the 63s.
