AFPR help, please

OK, got the FullThrottleSpeed AFPR. I need some help with it, though.

Obviously, the port with the rubber o-ring is going to go into the rail. The nipple coming out of the side of the top portion (facing up in this picture) is the vac/boost port.

My questions are:

-What connects to the top of this unit (threaded fitting pointing right in picture)
-How would one go about adjusting this thing?
-Would a FP gauge screw into the threads where the brass plug is now (middle top of pic)

The brass fiting should be for the fuel line. The one on the side is for the vaccum line ,and the one on top is what you use to adjust it with an allen wrench.

Oh there is a fuel teflon tape (its yellow) That I recommend using.

Yea it was me. Hope that info helped. I have the CAS afpr,but they seem to be pretty much the same.

One more question - does screwing the adjuster screw in increase fuel pressure, or decrease it?

Like I said mine is the cas afpr,but they are pretty much the same. If I remember right in increases the pressure. Someone please correct me if Im wrong.

IIRC, the bottom port is for the fuel line, and the side port is for a pressure gauge. I think.

Screwing it in increases the fuel pressure.

The plugged side port is for a fuel pressure gauge. That's why it has a plug. Remember to use teflon tape (the light green type for natural gas/gasoline) on the npt threads or you may get leakage.

Look for a Swagelock (or Parker) industrial tube fitting distributor in your yellow pages. It is white with a light green tint (not the plumbing style white stuff) and should say it is for natural gas/gasoline. We use the stuff on compressors moving highly corrosive acid (H2S) gas. I work in the oil & gas industry so we have tons of it in our mechanics trucks (and a few rolls in my garage ).

I got mine from a local plumbing store here. Its in a yellow plastic roll. The tape it self is a really light yellow. I looked on it and I think the Co. that makes it is UL.

UL stands for Underwriter Laboratories. They are an approval standards company like CSA & CE and test and approve goods, electronics, etc. for consumer use. There are alot of manufacturers of teflon tape.

Thats why I said "I think"....Im not a teflon tape expert. I looked for a Co. ,and thats all I saw.
