Just trying to make sure I do this right im finally putting the afpr in my car I've had for like 2 years. To set the fuel pressure do I pull the ign fuse and crank it til I get the lines preasurized then run it and dial it down to 42 psi?

Here is how I would do it prior to getting dsmlink. Start the car and let it warm up to normal operating temp. Then pull the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator and plug the line with your thumb. Look at the gauge to see where your fuel pressure is at and turn the adjustment screw on the regulator until your get it where you want it. On a 1g it should be 37 psi if you have a manual trans or 43 psi if you have an automatic. Once it is there reconnect the vacuum line. The reading on your gauge will change with the vacuum line attached, this is normal.

1G MT = 37psi
1G A/T = 43psi
1G NT = 48psi
2G ALL = 43psi
