I have a 90 talon tsi and had a few questions about my newly aquired afc2. I use a gmmaft for my maf but what should i set my afc to? It throws a cel if i have it on anything besides karman. Also, what is dec. air, and which wire on the ecu does the purple wire go to ( i know its for the knock sensor but cant find which one it is?)

Set your afc per stock dsm settings. The translator translates the gm maf signal to the ecu as if you were running a stock mas so it needs to be on karman and 4 cylinder with arrrow pointing at 2 o' clock. Decel air is a feature not compatible with karman cars aka your car so dont worry about it. www.Vfaq.com >>>>>dsm modification site>>>>electrical and you will find the ECU pinouts where you can locate the knock wire on the ecu.
