Ive searched and cannot come up with the answer, first off the engine is not in the car, but i wanted to make sure i got everything wired up ok, i hooked up my battery and set my base setting on the AFC, karman, 4 cylinder, progressive throttle. First i did hit initialize. Ok, i turned the key off and let the AFC power down, which took maybe 5 seconds after i turned the key. I waited a few seconds and turned key back on and all information i put in was lost. Is this because of the engine not being in? I would think not, but i looked at the wiring and all seems ok. Anyone know what is going on? thx Ken.

DO NOT hit intialize, it does as you witnessed and that is restore to factory settings. Just change to the settings you need and shut the car off, the afc will save the setting automatically.
