I looked thru endless of fpr/car won't start threads and none seem to give me an Idea of where to start with this problem.

I had a aeromotive fpr from import evolution sitting for awhile and didn't install it because my over run was not bad at all only at WOT with 550's. Anyway I installed it this past weekend and it took about 45min with all AN fittings teflon taped with no leaks. The first time it didnt start because the CAS was unplugged. With everything connected correctly, fuelpump clicks, and base fuel pressure low (tried 20-50) it would turn over but not start. It seemed like it was just flooding. I tried about 6X's (sounds like it wants to start) and had two loud back fires which led me to think it was real rich. One thing I did notice from looking at other tuner fpr's installed on the site...was there 8AN hose from fuel rail to the fpr was aligned straight. Mine kind of slopes down and then up to the fpr. I was also able to use the stock return line that bolts to the bottom of the fpr. I have the afc Zero'd out and even re-installed 450's with no change:confused:

Mods are current in profile.

i would take it off and make sure nothing happened in the process of putting it on. follow your steps back through it

How is fpr hooked up? Base fuel pressure without vacuum hose attached should be 43.5, netting you about 34-35 at stock idle/cams. Go back through your installation process and see if you have disconnected or disabled anything you've forgotten about.

Figured it out(simple)....during installation I disconnected the cam angle sensor harness to test fit the fpr. In the process there was a little fuel in the connector pin....cleaned it up and she fired up.
