AEromotive AFPR install problem

Alright, I started installing my Aeromotive AFPR tonight on my 96 gsx because my fuel pump went out so i threw my new Walbro in. So why not the AFPR too?

I get the old FPR off, I go to put the adapter on for the fuel rail and... the bolt holes dont line up. And I am quite pissed rightnow because I ordered the kit for it and it is working out.

If I don't find a solution I'm just going to drill out new holes on the adapter to make it work.

Are you sure you got the right adapter?Because most of the time they are pretty much right on. If I were you I would double check and then try to find a quick fix. Remember it's your fuel you are playing with here.

its all good now. I drilled two new holes to make it line up with the rail. Now I cant find a good spot to mount the reg.

And a quick question about the the fuel pump swap:
When I go under the car to unscrew the line I cant get it undone. And it looks like it is already starting to strip from the last owner. Any ideas on how to get it off?

there are two different adapters one for the filter side and one for the regulator. and on 2g's you have to pull the rear seat to gain access to the fuel pump access panel.

Alright thanks. I think that may be it for the adapter. And I already got the fuel pump sorted out but when you supposed to go under the car to unscrew the fuel line at the swivel(one with 14mm and 19mm), the 14mm bolt is a bit stripped. I need some ideas to get it off without breaking it.

Im thinking vices maybe, but that may be bad.

if its that bad already to the point where you cant turn it at all you should probably replace it... so imo using vice grips wouldnt be a bad idea or take it off by the actual assembly instead of getting under the car unless you have already tried that

Soak it in PB blaster for an hour or two then use the vice-grips
