I need help installing my aeromotive with the firewall install kit. I've looked in the tech article forum and searched on here but couldn't find anything with good instructions and pics. I need help mainly with all of the fittings and where they go. iIts going on my 98 GST

Alright so let me get this straight. I'm going to be mounting mine near the clutch resivor. I should have the fuel feed come in through the right side of the afpr, and have the regulated fuel come out hte left side of teh fpr to the fuel rail correct?

Do you have the one with 3 fittings I asume? You need to plug one of them, left or right either one. From the rail use the other fitting you didn't plug, (easiest to reach). Then the bottom goes to the return... hope that helps

Alright. I assume that I'm going to block off the left inlet. Then I'm going to take a blue male double fitting and stick in the right side then attach the 90º fitting to it then attach the braided line and then the braided line onto the fuel rail. Then I'm going to take another double sided male fitting to the return, then I'm going to use the straight notched fitting for the return? What do I do with the other fat fitting that has the threads on the inside of it?

In that kit it looks like they're using -6 an fitting for the return line too? The fitting your talking about is a push lock? If so that will just go to the bottom of the regulator and then to the factory return line.

Which doesn't fit. I bought a kit from them which came with (like a 3/8 barb). Didn't fit the stock return line. Here is where I got the right size barb fitting.

Ugh dammit, I knew that I didn't have something I would need :( What about for the braided return lines? Where can I find it at?

You would have to use the push lock style hose then in place of the stock return line. I'm using the Aeromotive fitting too. I got mine from Jegs.

Could you throw me a link? I'm looking on jegs right now and I cant find it.

I know I have to use one of the plugs and plug one of the inlets off now. I assume that the return is going to feed the fuel into the FPR and then the inlet is going to push the regulated fuel into the rail.

I'm just confused on where these fittings really need to go and how they go..
You got it completely backwards. It goes:

Fuel pump -> fuel filter -> fuel rail -> fuel pressure regulator -> return to fuel tank

The AFPR is mounted after the fuel rail, so the fuel flows through the rail and then into the regulator. The AFPR has two inlets but you only need to use one (and it doesn't matter which one), so you plug the other one off. The return on the bottom is just that - a fuel return port to the fuel tank.
