Hey where do I install the sensor I have a external dump tube? It syas put it after the turbo like 36 in. down stream, but when my wastgate opens up it going to start dumping:( .
Also can it work some how with pocklogger?

leave it connected in and pull it from up top and leave it under the seat plugged in. Doing this will not make the CEL turn on. Many times if you dont have a cat the CEL will not come on like mine, but it may depend on the car.

I havent had a cat for years and I only set the catalyst efficiency DTC once a year. I clear the code and everything is fine for atleast another year haha. My car goes through emissions just fine every 2 years. I think a lot of people put the wide band in the downstream sensor hole. Thats what I'm doing.

You definitely have a couple different options.

If you haven't gone with ECMLink, it would be a good option. I asked a similar question about ECMLink and CEL's and was told that it would describe codes AND you can actually turn off any CEL codes (at your own risk!), the second O2 Sensor included, with that program. This would most likely help when deciding where to put the Wideband sensor (downstream bung or weld one on somewhere).

The other option would be to just remove it and leave it plugged in under the driver's seat. I assume it would be the same as installing a MBC and leaving the wastegate actuator solenoid plugged in, so you don't throw a CEL. Not sure if leaving it under the seat would throw a CEL or not, like Red Devil said it all depends on the car, and your setup.

Best way to figure out if it works would be to do it and see what happens. Every car is different. Just don't beat on the car for the first few test drives and try logging to see what is happening while you drive. Log before you remove it and then log after you remove it. If it changes, you will see it in the log.

Hope that helps!
