well i sent my car in today, to get tuned and they are having a good knowledgeable dsmer tune my aem ems. well today he ran in to a problem and we all think it might be because of my standard trany swap with the automatic ecu. i have a 97eclipse all mods are in my profile. my question is are the ecu pinouts different from auto to standard ecu, are there wires to swap because the car runs on the stock auto ecu but when the aem ems is all pluged in they cant get it started but it turns and turns with no start. they also said that the fuel injectors sound like they're stuck at WOT. thanks guys......

the aem ems will not work with a automatic wiring harness if you have done the auto to manual tranny swap the aem ems was not meant for automatics or at least the one i have 30-1310. the car will throw wierd electrical problems fuel injectors will be showing wide open throttle and spark plugs too. this is dangerous i almost bent a rod or worse because the engine was turning over with a cylinder full of gas (i believe this is called hydrolock). if you think about it the warning label says manual transmissions only and your replacing the factory ecu so the only thing left that is an automatic part is the wiring harness I HOPE THIS CAN HELP SOMEONE OR SAVE SOMEONES CAR :hellyeah: rock on dsmtuners
