Background info: Building 2.4 edz pistons are overbored and looking to have a max power output of 300 or 350. What rods would be good enough to withstand that type of power?

idea: I was looking into some BC rods and they seemed to do the job but i am unsure, and then I also came across a set of rods by K1 I believe?? They were 200 some odd dollars and I was blown away by there price. Does anyone have good or bad info on them and if they will work for my build?

If you guys have suggestions on rod for this SRT Frankenstein build please advise me!

Srt4 internals can handle that power pretty easy. And 200 dollars are way cheap for rods. I paid 350 for mine. I'd imagine you are going turbo? Any eagle, Manley, k1 that are forged will be plenty. It's pretty easy to find what the horse power rating is. I think eagle rods can hold over 6-700 hp as they advertise that.

Why would you ever put aftermarket rods on stock pistons

I failed to mention that they are wiesco pistons nothing stock.

Yea i have never heard of K1 before, and I usually dont buy into anything that I havent researched or seen proof for. I saw on some of the thread that the internals for the SRT4 are pretty durable at that.

I do plan on boosting it but I dont plan on turning the boost up high enough to where I hit 400 or 450 hp.

I just cannot get my stuff together today. Thanks for correcting me. I'am really going to have to do my homework on some K1 rods if I'am really that intrigued about them.

Have you used K1 at all? Or do you know of anyone that has had them before?
