advice on t-case gasket

Any good advice on how to get the t-case to seal good to the tranny?

I had to change an oil pan and afterwords, I now have a pretty consistent drip coming from the where the t-case mounts to the tranny. I used the same metal gasket it had in it and sprayed it with copper gasket spray. I guess it didn't work.

Any tips/cheats on how to get this biznatch to seal up good so i can put some good ass tranny fluid in it instead of the auto zone special?

It sounds like its comming from the shaft that goes from the tranny to the t-case, i had this prob. and i couldn't replace the seal with the tranny in the car. you have to pull it out cuz the flywheel is in the way of puting it in flushed.
 
yeah, i called up diamondstarmotorsport and they told me the same, it's probably the inner shaft seal on the tranny that is leaking. I went ahead and ordered all new seals for the tranny since i am going to have to pull it out anyways, and i also got the recall kit cuz i think the yolk is leaking onto my downpipe like in some of the pics i've seen online.

This sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now i know why i always see people selling their cars on here because they are tired of fixing them. DSM (doesn't stay moving) :cry:
 
It turns otu it was the inner shaft seal on the tranny that was oozing my oil everywhere, it was then dripping down the bellhousing to where the t-case mounts up and then drippity drip drip on my driveway. I went ahead and ordered every seal on the tranny since to get to the inner shaft seal, you must pull the tranny anyways, due to the flywheel being in the way of changing it and it's kinda deep into the housing. It must have got dinged when i was trying to get the t-case off when i was changing my oil pan.

You can order all the seals from you local mitsu dealership, but they are usually newer guys that don't know crap about 1g eclipses and usually end up ordering the wrong part numbers.

What are the part numbers for the seals? Anyone know? I might as well replace since my tranny is out. Got a few leaks and cant find them so.....
