advice on exhaust and FMIC

Hi , well my dilemna is I don't really know what exhaust and FIMC to go with.
I have a 2g eagle talon (98) with 1st gen engine swap.(14b turbo btw)

I'm interested in both the apexi GT exhaust and the HKS one ( I heard the mgean racing was not so good), but I'm wondering what downpipes/test pipes would work if I got the HKS one because I know the apexi can use both its own GT downpipe or one from RRE.I don't know if one is better than the other or If theres something else better than both of them I want to buy once and eb able to live with it for awhile.

Now for the FMIC I don't really want to spend 900$ on one . So I've been looking at the kit from VR speed factory and the kit from punishment racing I don't know wich is better or If I'm maybe better of getting a mishimoto IC and getting separate piping somewhere.I'm kinda lost

I wouldn't worry about a fmic on a 14b, all you'll do is add lag

Thermal R&D is a good brand exhaust and VRSF Front mount is also a good choice. For exhaust you could also have a muffler shop bend you up some 2.5 or 3in pipe and weld on a Magna Flow muffler if you want a quieter exhaust.

HKS you are pretty much gonna have to cut and weld if it isn't stock down pipe. Apexi you can just bolt on with the apexi exhaust and downpipe so that will be easier but more money.

Intercooler you can just buy the kit on ebay, it is the EXACTY same kit punishment sells. I got mine from ebay a week ago, it's 250 something bucks. But I don't know how the punishment intercooler is gonna work with the 1gen swap.

I can vouch that the Megan racing exhaust is way too loud and drones on the highway. I hate mine. I'll be going the Magna Flow and 3in pipe route.

Ok ,thanks guys so I guess I'll put off the FMIC till I get a 16g .I dunno how much boost I can get outta my 14b as it is thought . Whats the best down pipes to get if I go for the HKS route.(btw I did search around in the forum but I see no definitive answer to push towards one more than the other havent seen any reviews about the hks ).

It depends, don't count the 14b out... Featured member can tell you that... But 16g will be easier.
