I have searched and found nothing so far. With that said, I was planning on getting a 3" RNR turbo-back exhaust and wanted to know if that was too big for my goals which are low 13's on pump gas, decent tune and driver. Also I was thinking about ordering a Street FMIC from SBR and wanted to know how I could make it a blow thru set up. Example: just cut the UICP and install maft with translator or what? I love the look of a FMIC and wanted to get one soon even though the mod list says to do it later. I already have a boost gauge and controller on the way. My car is bone stock. My funds are about $2000 for everything including the boost gauge and controller. If money is left over it will go towards a clutch. Any help would be great. Thanks. :)

Get a 3inch turbo back youll be able to reach your goals much easier with that instead of a 2.5". If it was me i would get a UICP that was made to be blow though and get a frount mount kit or make one thats setup for the long route path. You could cut the pipe and do it that way but you would to get the ends of the pipes fixed so that it wont blow off under pressure... i cant remember what its called at the moment....so that might be more trouble then your wanting to get into..i dunno. You could prolly even find a kit thats short route and made for blow though instead of cuting stuff up....and at least get a air filter or something before you jump all the way to intercooler, its a great place to start. Have fun modding :thumb:

FYI 2g's with T25s have broke into the high to mid 12's..... I'd shoot for low 12's with that 1g...

Get a 2g TB elbow and a 2g O2 housing. Cheap but solidly benificial modifications.

Or get a 02 eliminator DP and then I'd look at a thermal R&D exhaust. My recomendation for 1g AWD exhaust.

I'd do the FMIC and blow thru maft at the same time.. I just used T-netics couplers with T-bolt clamps to graft the MAF into my homemade UIC... Some places have a blow thru option on their FMIC kits.

You probably wont need the blow thru MAF until its FMIC time anyway..

or, you dont need a blow thru at all...

3" exhaust, fuel pump, injectors, SAFC2, logger, FMIC and more boost will get you into 13's easily. hell, even without an FMIC you can hit 13's.

I do agree with MNGSX to get either a 2g elbow, or a hard UICP. that and the 2g o2 > 1g o2

Maft you can vent the BOV and it spools faster... The V2 maft is more llike a SFAC than the old one...

True it's not needed... But can't hurt and is nice.

The only reason for the blow thur set up was to vent to the atmosphere to cure all the rice that is in my veins. Plus I love the look of FMIC so its a win-win deal for me. Also, I was wondering about the benefits of an o2 eliminator exhaust? What is needed to run them and are they worth the extra $100? Thanks for all of the input. By the way I forgot to add Upgraded fuel pump and 660's that I am ordering soon. :talon: What shops have a blow thru setup with a FMIC?

I bought my fmic kit from dejontool.com and I bought the blow through system with HKS flange , they have it for options I bought the big 1g race ic http://www.dejontool.com/DSM-1g FIC.htm go there and you will see the blow through system and all the shit you need. Also if you are buyuing a fmic you need to buy a low profile drivers side fan for piping to fit through. have fun and good luck :thumb:
