What do you all know about meagan racing exhaust. im thinking about getting their stainless muffler because it is wont im looking for visually and because it wont hurt my wallet as bad as most. i plan on doing alot of the other piping myself.. either straight pipe or a highflow cat eventually. and also what do you guys think about a short ram intake. because i do not have enough money nor have a found a cold air intake for my 1 gen. i was just wondering what you all thought about this because you all probly no more about dsms at this point then i do. so thanks for your help.

Megan racing is a great alternative for a person on a budget and honestly exhaust is just exhaust. There are no tricks to it, for you I would suggest buying a catback exhaust on ebay for like 300 bucks. Not only will it have mandrel bends which most exhaust shops arent capable of doing but it will also come with a muffler. cxracing currently has a 3 inch cat back for $279 plus $49 for shipping on ebay. I know you said your on a budget but it will cost more by going to a exhaust shop and having them do it.

Please use spell check, proper grammar, and punctuation. It really helps us understand what you're asking.

Megan Racing makes some good products. I recommend them.

Thanks guys. Sorry about the punctuation. i am not very good at grammer and stuff like that so i apoligize. Well i dont plan to go to an exhaust shop, Me and one of my friends already did my exhaust on my jeep and i think that we can manage doing this exhaust also. and im going to try and make my own catback because of my budget. Im waiting on someone to buy my paint gun from me so that i can get the money for my exhaust and my intake. and im also looking at a option short shifter. well thank you guys for the help and the input.

if you have the ability to fabricate you own exhaust, then you should be able to fabricate yourself a cold air intake. The short throw is kind of waste IMO, the money could be used elsewhere, i would save that for one of the last few mods.

i have a megan downpipe and 3 inch full exhaust with dc sport headers to an obx 4 inch muffler i hate every part of my exhaust it sounds horrible when it comes to exhaust spend the money and you get the quality

What are the symptoms or reasons why the car starts to choke( I think it's the exhaust) around 3000 rpm? I want to know at least to start looking at what I need to purchase next. I am fairly new to automotive learning so bare with me.

Very specfic details will greatly save us time. Thank you!
